The Golden House of Samarkand

After the \"Fable of Venice\", Corto is in Rhodes and begins searching for a treasure hidden by Alexander the Great in Afghanistan - a pretext to free Rasputin from a prison. To do this, he crosses three emerging states - the Turkish Republic, the Soviet Union and Reza Pahlavi's Iran - and meets various cultures.
