Mage #10

Kevin, Edsel and Sean infiltrate the Styx Casino. While they fruitlessly try to search for the source of the evil, Kevin is lured away by magics and captured by The Umbra Sprite. Kevin is held captive over a bottomless pit as The Umbra Sprite begins to question him. In the back-up Grendel story (which started in issue 6), Argent and Grendel continue to heighten their rivalry, while Stacy continues to feel depressed. Grendel takes criminal control over the entire east coast, killing all his rival crime bosses in the Seaboard Massacre, with Larry Stohler as an able assistant. Stacy hears his boasting call about the massacre to the police, and finds out for the first time that Hunter Rose is Grendel.
