Mage #7

The group takes shelter at Kevin's apartment. Mirth discusses Sean's powers with him, and after a brief resistance, Sean accepts his role in the war of light and dark. Kevin is ambushed by a Leanhaun Sidhe. Edsel jumps in and distracts her long enough for Kevin to get rid of her. In the end, the question is raised as to how the bad guys keep finding them, and Stanis Grackleflint gets captured. In the back-up Grendel story, Hunter Rose deals with the aftermath of Barry Palumbo's death and the fact that he took Stacy Palumbo away from the party. He brings her back, and has evidence planted on Barry's lover, making it look like she was the killer. The murder is covered up, but he wonders why no one noticed he and Stacy were missing for a while. Eventually Larry Stohler, a wealthy gossip, admits he misled the other party-goers to save Hunter, and becomes one of Grendel's only confidants. Grendel later adopts Stacy.
