Peggy is adopted by Sharon’s father after her own parents die. Sharon is not pleased with her new “sister” and tricks her into going alone to a shady nightclub. However, when Peggy is arrested she has Sharon’s driver's license so Sharon is blamed. Peggy clears up the misunderstanding and makes it clear she isn’t after Frank, Sharon’s boyfriend, and so the two young women become friends.
