Al Desmond has reformed and left behind his criminal past as Mr. Element, but the Reverse-Flash seizes control of him to force him to help restore Zoom's super-speed. When Flash encounters Mr. Element in the midst of a robbery, he deduces that his return to villainy is compelled by someone else and tracks the responsibility to Zoom. Zoom is defeated and no charges are filed against Desmond.
