The Strange Academy students attend the Multiversal Math Bowl at Miles's high school and become embroiled in a fight against fairy warriors trying to capture Equation, a renegade from their realm. It turns out that the whole fight was a set-up by Equation, who has an agenda of his own which only includes Doyle and Shaylee.
