Kay had adored Terry since they were kids when they were lying, stealing and fighting together with Andy. As they got older, Andy studied law, Kay took a stenographic job and Terry fronted for a night club. As Terry started making more money, it was assumed he and Kay would get married, but Terry starts breaking more dates. She decided to surprise him for breakfast, but catches him embracing another woman. She is tempted to go back to Terry, but Andy is there to keep her from brooding over him and eventually earns her love.
