Master Asita relates a tale of a rabbit sacrificing itself to permit a human to survive and sends Naradatta to investigate stories of a mysterious man. When Chapra is robbed he tracks down the gang who stole from him, trying to save his mother being sold into slavery should the goods not be returned.
