Great Pacific #3

Chas flashes back to his grandfather's funeral then awakes on the garbage patch and discovers he's lost the Hero device. Wandering the patch he discovers a crashed plane and a French female pilot who has the Hero prototype. The Hero device is activated and \"Yalafath\", the giant squid returns.
