Patti goes to New York to meet her fiancé as he returns from a foreign assignment for the New York Daily Globe. He had promised to get married when he got back, but his paper sends him immediately on another assignment to Fyguera in Central America where a revolution may be imminent. Patti decides to go to Fyguera to be with him. They both find themselves involved in a plot to set off a bomb to kill the country's dictator as well as possibly innocent women and children.
