Young Love #1

Former artist Larry is now down-and-out, after being jilted by singer Joan. Doris, who lives in the same boarding house, nurses Larry back to health from pneumonia. Doris gets Larry an art commission from the ad agency where she works, but he says he can’t draw anymore. Doris poses for him and their landlady is scandalised, so Larry marries Doris. He refuses to get a job, and a pregnant Doris leaves him. Larry returns: he’s now working again and reunites with Doris.
