Captain Atom defends himself against the Justice League but points out how he is using non-lethal force. They finally stop fighting, and talk, discussing Captain Atom's heroic actions in the past. He decides he needs to go back to Mirabai's homeworld to fix things, and asks for help of a magical nature. As Zatanna has disappeared, they end up calling in the Shadowpact.
