My Life, True Stories in Pictures #4

Twenty-year-old Jane Thompson marries Marshall Evans, an older man with a seventeen-year-old daughter, Susie, who is a defiant young woman and has little love for her stepmom. While Marshall is working nights, Susie club-hops with Tony Bower, a notorious lush. Jane feels she is failing her husband in not putting an end to his daughter's wild ways, and is roughed-up by Tony when she attempts to do so. Susie is impressed with Jane's sense of maternal duty and begins to see her stepmom differently. When Marshall is apprised of the situation, Tony is sent packing with a sucker punch to the jaw.
