The Dandy #1356

A man rides a horse into town and tells Dan that it's valuable. Dan puts the horse into the man's hotel bedroom for safety. The man then has to stay in the stables. A thief has overheard this and climbs up into the bedroom and steals the horse. Dan is woken up at home by a phone call from the night porter and dashes outside just in time to stop the horse but the thief is thrown off and hides. Dan says he will keep the horse at home and the thief overhears this. The thief steels the horse and rides away but it is Dan he is riding. Dan captures the thief and takes him to the sheriff.
