My Love Memoirs #12

Harriet is engaged to Tony, but they can’t afford an apartment and he refuses to let her keep her job after marriage to help with the rent. Harriet dates Chick and agrees to meet him in Indianapolis while he’s there on business. She believes they’ll be married, then discovers Chick is “not the marrying kind.” Tony arrives to rescue her, and they reconcile.
