Druuna is hiding her lover, Shastar, who has a sickness that transforms people into mutant monsters. She offers her body to the doctor to get more medicine, but it isn't enough. Shastar seems to have discovered something very important, but the sickness makes it difficult for him to remember. He leads Druuna on a dangerous journey through the city to discover that their 'city' is actually a spaceship that has been traveling for centuries.
