On a mission to the U.S.S.R, Minder One, Lindsay Mills, commits suicide rather than be captured. In Berlin, Minder Three, Paul Crocker, is unable to carry out his mission: bringing a defector to the West. After returning home, Crocker barely has any time to spend with his new wife before being sent to Prague on another mission.
