As Wolverine cuts through the inner circle of the Hellfire Club, both he and Xavier slowly begin to realize that this is exactly what Sebastian Shaw wants. As the pair prepare to take on Shaw and rescue Daken, a secret from the past is finally revealed. When Wolverine first joined the X-Men, he was supposed to kill Xavier on the orders of Romulus. Instead, Professor X manipulated his mind so that he would be fully committed to his new team.
