The gangsters murder the Sheriff, put the boys in the tanker car to die of gasoline fumes, abscond with the stolen tires. Lunchroom Mike et al. discover the Sheriff. The gang scatters. Jojo commandeers the engine crew of a fast Jojo commandeers a freight train. Two of the gang are captured in a corn crib. Tracy stops the lynch mob. Jojo uncouples the freight cars, blocking the highway crossing. The speeding engine runs over a haywagon. Tapping reveals the boys trapped in a molasses tanker. Tracy commandeers the Streamlinerer, overtakes the freight train, kills Jojo. The boys are okay.
