Betty is jealous of Veronica's wealth. Veronica invites her for an overnight visit to emphasize her wealth and get her to give up Archie. But there is a twist when Betty phones home to talk to her mother and Veronica finds herself envying Betty's close ties to her parents as opposed to her usually-absent mother and father.
