Denise hires private detective Perry to find her mother Nora, who abandoned her at age 6. Nora is now married to a rich man; Denise gets a job as a maid in the house, plotting revenge on her mother. Perry, who loves Denise, disagrees with her plan. Denise discovers her mother was injured in an auto accident and by the time Nora recovered, Denise and her adoptive family had moved away. Nora has been searching for her all this time. Denise and her mother are reunited, and now Denise can reciprocate Perry’s love.
