Diary Loves #10

After Lane’s father is injured in a construction accident, his partner Bert consoles Lane. She meets Dan, a worker who lost his nerve and can’t work high in the girders any more. Dan says Mr. Selby’s fall was caused by sabotage. Dan and Lane learn Bert purchased substandard materials and tried to kill his partner. Overcoming his fear of heights, Dan rescues Lane from Bert on a high girder; Bert falls to his death and Dan and Lane kiss.
