Hurt that everyone in town considers him a freak for his huge appetite, Jughead decides to go on a diet. As soon as he stops eating, he becomes stupid, endangering his ability to win the inter-city scholarship trophy for the school. Miss Grundy realizes why Jughead never got fat: his body converts food into brain power instead of flab, and when he's not eating, he's not smart.
