Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact #15 [261]

The group needs to find metal to repair their spaceship, but metal is unknown on the planet and synthetic material just won't work. Tom and Cufocr take an air-car to search the planet's cities for metal with no luck. Cufocr tells them of a story told to him by his grandfather. The regions beyond the seas were destroyed by a great flood that buried all but the tops of the highest mountains. They land and hear weird howling. In the morning, they explore and find a dead animal that was killed by a spear made of metal. Suddenly, a hail of spears rains down on them, all made of metal.
