Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact #4 [250]

Steven and Joe play baseball with the other boys and a home run breaks a window. They want to run away, but the other boys make them stay to face the music. A policeman shows up and brings them into the homeowner's house to talk things over. All of the boys take odd jobs to earn money to pay for the window. The policeman gives them a tour of the police station and as a surprise, shows them some vacant land that the city is buying to turn into a playground for the town's kids. The policeman tries to explain what it's like to be a cop in the USA, so that Joe and Steven won't distrust cops.
