Madge’s parents are very wealthy but they spend little time with her. While attending an exclusive finishing school, Madge and some friends sneak out to a road house. Madge meets working class boy Jack, and they fall in love. Jack suggests they elope but the police intervene and prevent the ceremony. Madge learns Jack was a fortune-hunter anyway. Psychiatrist Dr. Tangren helps Madge understand that she was starved for affection due to parental neglect. Perhaps she’ll find true love in the future.
