Synn is summoned by Captain Freedom to Oceanus One where she and all the rest of the inhabitants have been mind-controlled by the Claw. With Synn now under Claw's control, Synn is forced to use her plasma powers to turn everyone in the world into manga versions of themselves. The giant-sized Claw goes on a rampage in Washington and is temporarily neutralized by members of Femforce, who have also invaded Oceanus and freed Synn, returning everyone to normal. Tara, battling Claw in her giant form, becomes weak and faints, and is about to be squished by Claw's giant foot.
