Pat and Greg are engaged, but Pat’s sister Pauline says Greg has “been turned down by every girl in town!” (including Pauline) When Greg refuses to “explain” his past, Pat breaks their engagement and leaves town, moving in with college friend Ellen and getting a job as a stenographer. Pat goes home to give Greg another chance, but Pauline tricks her into thinking she’s Greg’s new sweetheart. Ellen throws a party and invites Greg, who explains Pauline’s deception, and he and Pat are reconciled.
