Just when Trip Munroe thought that life couldn't get any worse after his girlfriend leaves him, he is suddenly attacked by aliens called the Corpii. Incredibly, Trip manages to fight them off by killing some of them, and discovers that he has the power to transform objects. A different alien wearing the form of his ex-girlfriend shows up, and starts to explain things to Trip, when another Corpii appears and throws Trip off the top of the Empire State Building.
