Actors Judy and Ted are in love, but he’s convinced he’s a box-office “jinx.” Ted quits a stage production of “Romeo and Juliet” with Judy and goes off with TV star Gloria. He’s replaced by Ronald, a movie star who’s a poor actor. Gloria tells Judy that Ted only pretended to love her so Judy would forget him. Judy finds Ted working in a diner and brings him to the theatre to replace Ronald.
