Snaarl and Snugg steal Zxaxz's power rings and open a portal to Earth, searching for Earth's Spellbinder. The portal opens in the apartment of school teacher Erica Fortune and her two younger siblings Roy and Sally, but Zxaxz manages to follow through before the portal closes. After donning one of the power ring bracelets, Erica takes on the power of the Spellbinder and manages to disintegrate Zxaxz after a brief battle.
