Kamandi enters the vortex and is told about the multiverse and is given the opportunity to leave behind the World After Disaster for another, happier timeline. Meanwhile, his friends try to harness the energy of the mutants to help Pyra return to her home. Kamandi decides to return home to help his own timeline recover, but before he can, he is grabbed by Brute and Glob, who mistake him for Jed.
