Fighting in Korea, Rex is assigned by his handler to watch over green soldiers going up against seasoned enemies. When the raw recruits brush off Rex as a pest, he \"ghosts\" ahead of the squad. He yanks tripwires, forces sentries and snipers to shoot, and exposes a tank. The squad thinks the enemy was careless, and Rex useless, but his handler knows otherwise.
