All-Winners Comics #16
Cover ANamor substitutes as a speedboat for one of Betty Dean's newspaper friends on a surfboard when suddenly the man's board explodes, killing him. Namor soon realizes that the board has been treated with a chemical which becomes explosive when left in the sun for long periods of time. Namor is on hand when the Sheriff arrests Jed Norris for the murder, but the pleadings of innocence from that man's daughter spurs the Prince to uncover the true crooks, who were running a numbers racket that had been discovered by the newspaperman and for which he was killed.
