- First issue without tow hook - 1966 release; towing the Batboat used a plastic sleeve over the exhaust
- Later issue with tow hook - Tow hook added from the 1967 Batboat gift set era
- Whizzwheels issue - 1970s version with low-friction Whizzwheels instead of the original red bat-logo hubs
Original or reissue?
Originals have rocket launcher, pop-out chain cutter and flashing exhaust flame; first issues have gold wheels with red bat-logo centres.
