Flintheart Glomgold invites Scrooge to a meeting to say he's changed his ways with the passing of his heretofore unknown brother \"Trueheart Glomgold\", and baits a skeptical Scrooge into searching for his own brother, Gideon McDuck, who's disappeared in the jungles of Brazil while researching a story for his newspaper \"The County Conscience\". Glomgold offers to put up the boys at his South African island mansion, while Scrooge and Donald search for Gideon, and treats them royally to prove his good faith.
