Major Dennis, Danny, and Rex search Africa for a rumored \"golden crocodile\". Danny is disappointed in skyscrapers and jeeps and wishes to see \"darkest Africa\". Setting out with Rex, they are attacked by a crocodile, trapped between it and a lion, and flop atop stampeding elephants before tumbling into a treasure trove with a crocodile statue of solid gold! Staggering into camp, Major Dennis admits maybe Africa is tamed and the golden crocodile a myth. And Rex and Danny collapse laughing!
