Mavis talks Anne into scrimping so they can holiday in Italy. When an Italian local asks them to stay there and work as receptionists in his father's hotel, Mavis again talks Anne into staying. But the hotel is actually a gambling club and Anne realizes that the word \"receptionist\" was not an accurate description of what the boss expects of the girls.
