Clare is in shock after her fiancé leaves her for another girl. Her parents are worried, but one day she sees a boy through the window across the street from her room. The obvious distress of the boy mesmerizes her and she stops thinking about her own heartache. She eventually discovers that the boy's girlfriend left him and is now dating her brother.
