After a quarrel with her husband, Jane's sister goes out with a guy but gives Jane's name instead of her own. Pam returns to her husband, but the man she was with turns up at Jane's place looking for the person he thinks is 'Jane'. The real Jane falls for him, but the police start questioning him and everybody where he works when some plans are stolen from the factory. Jane's sister is terrified her husband will find out she went out with another man, so Jane agrees to be the man's alibi for that night.
