Karen and Steve fall in love, but she wants a chance to pursue her desire to be a dress designer. She gets her chance, but runs into an unscrupulous boss who wants more from Karen than just her designs. Steve gets the wrong idea about her and leaves her. She reluctantly continues her career with the designs and becomes successful, but the old boss had stolen her designs and now accuses her of stealing them from him. All the while, Karen would gladly give up her career if Steve would just return.
