True Life Library #14

For nineteen years, Helen had protected her daughter from the knowledge that her father had been convicted of murder and hanged shortly after she had been born. But a man with knowledge of her past shows up at the remote Welsh village and blackmails her into being the doctor at a nursing home he runs in London. He needs a doctor who won't ask too many questions because the patients there are drug addicts and he is the man responsible for supplying them the drugs that got them there.
