Sweetheart Diary #14

Alice and her fiancé Jerry buy a corner grocery store together. Alice begins to economize drastically and spends all her time on store business. Jerry finally breaks up with her because of her “money-mad mania” and leaves. Business also falls off due to Alice’s bad business decisions. Alice realizes “how stupid and wrong I was!” and changes the way she runs the store. Business picks up again; Jerry returns and reconciles with a contrite Alice.
