Claire gets jilted by fiancé Lon and swears to never fall in love again. She gets a new job as secretary to Mark Grant, publisher of \"Bi-Focal\" glamour magazine. She tries to hide her feelings for Mark as he falls for fashion model Billie Day. One day in the dark room Mark kisses Claire by mistake and she realizes she is madly in love with Mark. Billie leaves Mark for a film career with Mr. Fleming. Mark tries to get over Billie and starts dating Claire. Lon appears and wants Claire. She refuses. Billie comes back and wants Mark. He refuses. Mark and Claire end up with each other.
