All Star Western #72

Schoolteacher John Tane (secretly Johnny Thunder) tells his students \"criminals are stupid to think they can break the law\" and the kids should be unofficial lawmen like Johnny Thunder. His lecture boomerangs when a gang captures John Tane and forces him to dress as Johnny Thunder so they can kill him in public view! Johnny pulls a double-switch to beat the thugs and, with a wounded arm, must fill in as schoolmaster for a week!
