Rick and Morty return from an adventure where Rick has stolen and returned with a rogue universe's science, doubling his stockpile of science. Morty decides to return to high school, rather than go on Rick's new 12-issue adventure, causing a rift between grandfather and grandson. A dimension of math-worshipping Goldenfolds seeks to raid \"our\" dimension (C-137) to capture \"our\" Rick, representing the chaos of mad-science to the math-lovers. Bystanders of the battle between Rick and the invading Unclefold, awkward Morty and disaffected but sweet Noelle, begin a cross-dimensional friendship.
