Intergang hires a thief named Jim Craddock to steal an Eternium artifact from the St. Roch museum. Hawkman stops Craddock, who is accidentally killed while escaping. Craddock makes a deal with demons who allow him to return to Earth in ghostly form and will restore him to life if he kills Hawkman.
