African Adventures #1

Jed Forsythe is a hunter/adventurer who has retired his services after the death of one of his faithful servants, caused by one of his former clients. Mr. Fullton speaks with Briggs, however, Forsythe's friend and long-time hunting companion, about hiring Forsythe. Initially he declines, but changes his mind when a substantial sum of money is offered. Forsythe also looks after Malomba, a beautiful young half-caste who is devoted to him. Malomba is \"part Indian, part African, with a dash of European\", and becomes jealous when she sees Forsythe teaching Mrs. Fullton how to handle a rifle.
