Captain Cosmos, The Last Starveyer #1

Thanks to Cadet Starling adjusting the ship's engines, The Bedevere's warp drive melts down while in hyperspace, trapping the crew there. They find Crona Myers, another traveller trapped there, whose technical skill gets the ship running again. It soon becomes apparentl, however, that something followed them back from the other dimension, and is intent on taking Crona back there with it.
