Molly Manton’s boarders include George, a young man with amnesia; “maladjusted” Sidney whose wife Alice is considering divorce; and librarian Carol who’s being courted by wealthy Bob. Bob thinks George might be a fugitive murderer. George turns out to be innocent and will marry Carol; Sidney springs into action when his wife is threatened and they reconcile; Bob and George’s ex-fiancée become engaged.
